Frequently Asked Questions

How can I book an appointment?

The best way to book a tattoo with me is by filling out my enquiry form. It’s quite detailed, but that’s intentional — it helps me really understand your idea and keeps everything running smoothly from the very start.
If you’re still figuring things out or just want to talk your idea through first, you’re more than welcome to drop me a DM on
Instagram and we can take it from there.

Where are you based?

I work from Nobody’s Business Tattoo in King’s Cross, London — a studio I’m very proud to be part of. The Tattoo Shop is inside of Mare Street Market, full of shops, art gallery, restaurant and bar. You’ll find a Google Maps link available here to make getting here easy.
If you’re travelling by public transport, Citymapper is your best friend. If you’re driving, there’s a
car park close by. Just be sure to double-check opening times as they change throughout the year.

How does the design process work?

Once you’ve submitted the enquiry form, I’ll either come back to you with a few extra questions or suggest a consultation if your idea needs a deeper chat.
Every tattoo is different, but the process usually starts with talking through your concept, placement, and any reference images you have. For larger pieces — like sleeves or back tattoos — or designs that need to flow around the body in a specific way, we may also do some drawing directly on the skin during a consultation.
From there, I’ll start designing your tattoo ahead of your appointment. How far in advance depends on how busy my schedule is, but the aim is always the same: creating something that feels right for you.

Will I see my design before my appointment?

This really depends on the type of tattoo you’re getting.
For large, multi-session projects (sleeves, backs, etc.), we’ll usually have a couple of consultations where we look at rough sketches and fine-tune placement, size, and overall flow. This gives us both confidence in the direction before we commit to the final design.

For smaller tattoos, I tend to fit these around my larger projects, which means they’re often drawn up the day before or the morning of your appointment. This is why the
enquiry form is so detailed. Any changes can always be made together on the day — my priority is making sure you leave with a tattoo you truly love.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Because every tattoo is unique, pricing depends on the size, style, and complexity of the piece. I mostly work on an hourly rate, which ranges from £120 to £150 per hour depending on the tattoo and the day of the week.
Full-day sessions are capped at £650 per client. If you’re able to sit well for longer sessions, you might even get some extra tattoo time at no extra cost.

I’m always happy to talk openly about pricing, give estimates, or book a consultation so I can provide the most accurate quote possible, so
get in touch.

How can I best prepare for my appointment?

You’ll find all the information you need on how to prepare for your tattoo via Big Do's in prepararetion for your Appointment guide linked on my page.

Following these steps helps make the day run smoothly and ensures you’re as comfortable as possible throughout your session.

How do I look after my tattoo?

Proper aftercare is key to a well-healed tattoo. Please follow my aftercare instructions carefully to give your tattoo the best conditions to heal.
If anything feels off or you’re unsure about the healing process, just send me a DM — I’m always happy to help, and (almost) no question is too silly.

Do you tattoo all styles?

Over the years, working in busy street shops in both Rome, MIlan and the UK, I’ve built experience across a wide range of tattoo styles. While I’m confident tattooing most requests, I’ve chosen in recent years to focus mainly on the styles that genuinely inspire me.
Ornamental, Japanese, and Surrealism tattoos now make up most of my work. That said, I’m always open to hearing your idea. however I do still tattoo other styles so please do reach out with your request
here.

If I feel another artist would be better suited, I’ll happily recommend someone from the Nobody’s Business family or a trusted artist nearby.

Do you do reworks or cover-ups?

Yes — absolutely. If you have an older tattoo that needs refreshing or a piece you’d like to cover, I’m always happy to see what can be done.
These projects usually require a consultation (in person or virtual) so I can properly assess what we’re working with and talk through the best design options. Cover-ups come with extra considerations, so planning together is essential.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

If you’re feeling nervous or would be more comfortable bringing someone along, just let me know ahead of time. Creating a calm, relaxed environment is really important to me.
Due to limited space at Nobody’s Business Tattoo, I can’t accommodate large groups waiting during sessions, but I’ll always do my best to answer your questions beforehand and help you feel at ease.

However the studio is located inside Mare Street Market, which is full of large tables where you can relax with a drink or something to eat, or visit an art gallery or a vintage shop, a bookstore, a music store and more.
